Rossland is located in the beautiful Kootenay Rockies Region of British Columbia. It offers both summer and winter charm, and is truly a place where time slows down. For those seeking for a little R&R, our unpretentious, quaint little community will offer you a unique and authentic experience where you can get in touch with nature first hand.

In the winter, Rossland becomes a serious ski town. Red Mountain Resort and Big Red Cat Skiing are well known operations in our area worth checking out. Also, the Black Jack Ski area provides over 30 kms of beautifully groomed trails for classic and skate skiing.

In the summer, Rossland has over 200 kms of maintained mountain bike trails, a wide variety of stunning hikes, and treasured huckleberry picking! Daily shuttles and group rides are available for those who bike. Nancy Green and Christina Lake, 45 minutes away, also offer great beaches and swimming.

There is always something to do in this funky heritage town. In your downtime, take in our museums (rich in mining history), farmers market, arts and culture scene, festivals, spas and boutique shopping.
